At the Dunedin Winter Show'the* following awards were made:— Butter, one box of factory ._ half cwt, suitable for export: Levin, tto points; Ta-ieri and Peninsula, Oamaru, 94 ; beiton, 93\; Taieri and Peninsula, Oamaru, 93 One box, half cwt, factory butter, suitable for export, open to JNortn Island competitors: Lcyin, 94£ points, Lcpporton, 93* ; Opotiki 91. On* box, half cwt, factory butter, suitable for export, open; Canterbury Central, 9o£ points; Levin, 9o ; Opotiki, ;H ; Canterbury Central, 94. Grading points prizes, awarded 10, makers whoso factory output ior vhe j season gains the highest aggregate number "of points according to certmcates issued by Government graders from November Ist to.March 3i.st.: lai ; ori and Peninsula, Dunedin, 94 and i» points £8; Levin, 95 and 12, £o ; LepSSton (Taranaki),' 95 and 94, £3 ; Mangorei, 93 and 95, £2; Eurdtei, ttaikato 93 and 68; Kairanga, Wellington, 93 and 61; Golden Bay, Nelson, 93_and 18; Maungatanere, 92 aud <3; SseAon, Canterbury, 92 aud 59. The entries for the show show a falling-off of about 100 as compared with last year, when they reached a record for the society. The attendance to-day was below- that for last year.
