MR MARSHALL RETURNED
DETAILS OF STATE VOTING
MR ROOSEVELT MAGNANIMOUS.

New York,' Nov 6. Mr Thomas R. Marshall, Governor of Indiana, was elected Vice-Presidont. All the States south of Potamac returned Wilsonites, and Connecticut, Delaware, West Virginia, Indiana, and Missouri voted Democrat.
Now Hampshire and Vermont returned Taftitos.
With tho Western States incomplete the electoral votes stood as follows: — Mr Woodrow Wilson 267 Mr Roosevelt 29 Mr Taft 8 Mr Roosevelt says he will accept the result with entire good humour and contentment. As for tho Progressive cause tho fate of its leader is of little consequence, but the cause itself must ultimately triumph, for its triumph is essential to tho well-being of tho people. Mr Roosevelt telegraphed congratulating Mr. Wilson.
