HAIRDRESSERS V GROCERS

. Another match in the trade series was played yesterday afternoon between the Hairdressers' and Grocers' teams', resulting in a win for the Hairdressers'- by 35 runs. The scoring was small. The winners made 34 and 33, Edwards not out 17, Blincoo 10, Bartlett 7. The Grocers managed to'get only 22 a.nd 10, Holbrook 8 and Hockey 5. The winners' bowlers "made history," Canning getting S for 9, and 3 for 4 (with the hat trick) and Cooko 5 for 10 and 7 for i (including 4 wickets with successive balls). Thet Grocers' trundlers were Hockey 7 for 19, and 5 for 13, Harris 3 for 13, and Holbrook 3 for 18.
