©n 4th November last Mr. George Blanehtftt, of Wakapuaka, who is 80 years of age, proceeded to Wellington by the steamer Nikau, and lias not been heard of since. A fellow passenger on the vessel had conversation wit]) him until eight o'clock m the ovoning, and he then retired to his bunk leaving Mr. Blanchett on deck. He waa not seen to land at Wellington and all efforts to trace Ms whereabout have failed.
