ROYAL STANDARD PICTURES
A new high-class picture programme was presented on Saturday at tne Druids' HaU, and the management reaped theif reward in a weU-nUett house, both in the afternoon and evening A coloured picture of high merit portrayed the scenic beauties of A Visit to Bombay," including the tarfamed underground temples. A most dramatic story entitled "Ex-Convict 900" provided another excellent nim, the story being well acted and skilfully stage-managed. "The Dunlop Road Race" is a long and interesting picture taken at the start, the principal points of vantage during the lbs mile race, the winner Knaggs, who covered' the distance in seven hours and thirty minutes is seen being presented with the broad blue Tibbon at the Haymarket, Melbourne, where the finish took placo. "Flying Machines at Doncaster," "The Haunted Castle," "Animated Matches," and a number of comics with their romping, rollicking fun, made a general appeal to the risible dispositions of the audience that was not disregarded. The programme, which is fully up to the standard of previous productions, will . be repeated to-night. I
