me programme for Monday, as arrangecX by the Citizens' Committee and approved by his Excellency is as follows :— Procession leave the Uddfellows' Hall, W aimea street, at lu.oj a.m., via Hardy street, to junction of Trafalgar and Bridge strets; then open out into two lines along XrafaK gar street. His Excellency to drive from the Masonic Hotel up Hardy street, down Collingwood and Bridge streets to Trafalgar street. Procession to fall in behind his Excellency's carriage, and march to tho church steps, where he will be accorded an official reception by the Mayor and City Councillors.

Luncheon at Municipal Chambers at noon.

Alter luncheon his Excellency will visit tlie Alexandra Home, tlio. Mental and General Hospitals, and the A'elson Colleges,

Unveiling of memorial to Huria Matenga, the New Zealand Grace Darling, at Suter,Art Gallery at 4.30 p.m.

In the evening his Excellency, as Grand Master of the !>ie\v Zealand Freemasons, will bo officially received at the Masonic Hall, and afterwards entertained at a banquet at the Provincial Hall.

The City Council staff were busily engaged yesterday in decorating tho streets with flags in anticipation of his Excellency's visit.

Tho City Council last night decided to request Mr H. E. Duncan, President of the Chamber of Cony merce, to occupy the vice-chair at the luncheon on Monday. It was also decided to ask the Prime Minister to authorise a holiday at the Government buildings. It is announced that the solicitors' offices will bo closed on Monday. Members of the various Friendly Societies are advised by advertisement of the arrangements for Monday's procession.

The Reception Committee issues an invitation to old settlers to be present at Monday's reception, and seating accommodation will be found for them at the church steps;
