HACKENSCHMIDT'S LONDON COMPANY.

Coming in the zenith of his fame, George Hackenschmidt, the world's champion wrestler will appear in conjunction with his London vaudeville company at the Theatre Royal next Thursday evening for a very limited season. Hackenschmidt is said to be bringing some very clever entertainers in addition to his athletic team. The vaudeville artists comprise Clifford Eskell, Mark Osborne, Blanche Careli, King Morgan, and other performers quite new to the Dominion. It is not alone in wrestling that Hackenschmidt excels. In his displays a wide range of athletics is demonstrated by the "Russian liion" and his assisting demonstrators. Gunner Moir and Alex Bain, the latter a famous Scotch wrestler. Amongst a variety of instructive items are exhibitions of all approved stylos of wrestling, muscle culture, training methods, endurance tests, and the many exercises that are emploj'ed by Hackenschmidt in his physical development scheme. A particularly fine effect is picture studies in classic poses. Accompanying the party from England is a physical culture expert, who adds considerable interest to the series by describing the various exercises in detail, thus making the entertainment attractive to children and ladies.
