SUICIDE BY A CONTRACTOR.
9 [United Press Association.] Auckland, Feb. 2. ~ James Strongman, aged 50, a contractor, dwelling in the Commercial road, Arch Hill, was found hanging in a wood-house at his residence. He had been drinking for some days, and returned home at ten o'clock last night, and retired. The body was discovered by his daughter, who went to the shed for some wood.
