It has been for some time past an open secret, in political circles that Mr John - Bunis and Mr. Lloyd-George, fellow-members of the last Liberal Cabinet, are not dm, speaking terms. Never has the breach between these two been so marked as at a recent Liberal demonstration in the Albert Hall. Both Ministers .-^pre on the platform but they neither greeted nor looked at each other. Mr. Burns siliook hands and chatted with a Cabinet Minister sitting . next to the ChaneeJlor of -the Exchequer, but took no notice of the latter, nor did Mr. Lloyd-George appear conscious of the existence of Mr. Burns. The coolJ ness between the two appeared to hate ended in an open rupture.
