THE BALKANS.
A GRAVE DEADLOCK. BRITAIN'S SUGGESTION REJECTED. CERVIA AND THE POWERS. Received March 25, 9.55 p.m. Vienna, March 25. The newspaper ■ "Fromdeublatt" says:— "The Powers wish the threatening conflict to be momentarily averted ; we wish it permanently removed. The Servian question requires radical treatment, and- it must " get out of woi Id politics forthwith' and forever." .This semi-official comment refers to the exceedingly grave deadlock due to Baron Aehrenthal objecting to the terms of Sir Edward Grey's proposed, formula, which would enable Servia to satisfy all Austria's substantive demands, and would have smoothed the . way for a fresh conference. - i It is understood that Sir Edward Grey is preparing fresh proposals. Meantime Baron Aehrenthal withholds what is almost an ultimatum to Servia. ■'-•.'■. : . - ■' ; ' ■'■■.'■ London, March 25. ; Router's Belgrade correspondent reports that the Government hap; announced that Servia will unreservedly fellow the advice of the Powers.
