THE ROYAL "WELSH MALE CHOHI. . TO-MORROW NIGHT, This renowned combination hi choristers, due to appear at the Theatre Royal to-morrow evening, under Messrs J. and N. Tait's direction, is '. seemingly .overwhelmed in ' all towns visited with enthusiastic references to their ability as harmonists. The interest evinced by the musical public and the -enthusiasm displayed^ by Welsh-, men augur well for the continued success of the Australasian tour. : In Mel-: bourne the choir met with extraordinary demonstration of appreciation. From the inception of the tour in Sydney the patronage bestowed has been consistent, press and musical critics alike being unanimous in declaring that liner ■ singing has ■ never previously been heard in this part of the world. Particularly " impressed were the Sydney musical authorities, the 'TDaily Telegraph. stating "If applause counts for. anything these hypercritical days, the Royal, Welsh Male Choir is .destined to become the most popular of. any musical organisation that has -yet toured this country. Large and fashionable audiences have nightly insisted, upon -the repetition of evory number on programmes that cpul4 by possibility be redemanded Judging by the rapture with which the choir has been greeted, one might easily imagine oneself present at a .production- of the. brightest- and. best opera which has ever graced the .stage."
