SHEEP FAIR.
-[ United Pkeßß Association.] • : - - . Feilding, Feb. 26.;" Thirty-five thousand "sheep were entered for the Fcildirig sheep fair today, beating the previous records by 2000. Prices were good all round,- a large number of buyers being present. . a ■ . Later. •With late entries, a total of 42 000 sheep came forward for the Feildmj sheep fair to-day. The pnbes not regarded as very satisfactory for vendors, though all the good sheep; sold well. .The highest price;was 12 g^neas for a Southdown ram, bred by Mr WE Baker, whose Southdown ewes brought up to eight guineas each.
