In the first , year there he won first. prizes in Eiig- : lish, Latin, and French, and repeateu ■these successes in 1905. -, The follow- , ' iiif year he graduated B.A. in English Latin, Frenchi mathematics, junspru-' dence ; and constitutional history. .He I won several prizes. Since that time ; he has been in constant employment ■ as a clerk and has only his evenuigs for University worK, yet he secured first ! class honors in Janguages/nd literature" He obtained his M.A. degree, in 1907, and last yea^ he won tne ; Jacob Joseph Scholarship.
