Mr F. I. Ledger has presented the Chamber- - of Commerce with a plan, .thirty inches square, showing all the routes from Belgrove and Kohatu to Top House and Lake Rotoiti, together with the line of the Kiwi-Hope Junction extension of the railway. The plan was specially prepared wifch the object of showing the various road routes , with distances,; as clearly as possible, and with that view, all 'unnecessary detail has been excluded. Strenuous efforts are to he made to have more attention directed by the Tourist Department to the scenic resorts of the district above mentioned, and the plan will be valuable in making clear what is desired when representations are made to the_ various Government Departments interested . Members - and others interested can inspect the plan on application to the Secretary of the Chamber (Sir W. Spencer Hampson).
