WANGANUI HARBOUR BOARD ELECTION.
[United Peess Association.] Wanganui, Feb 8. Considerable interest was taken in the Harbour Board election to-day. There were two tickets, the present members of the Board adhering to the existing sc£eme of harbour improvement, while a new party advocated cutting a channel through the South spit. The result of the poil was the return of the old members by a good majority.
