MR JAMES ARMSTRONG.

The death is recordpd of -Mr. Jaihes Armstrong, in his 88th .yeav. The deceased arrived in the Bominion in tho ship Maori in June 1852, with his" wife, .1 two daughters ,and one . son.? Hi's wife "predeceased him "about 14 years ago." He leaves a'grown up family of five' daughtersj- one soil (Mr James Armstrong of Trafalgax street) thirty-two grahdchildreiir and forty four great grand-children.: ~
