Waken'eld, last evening, when there was a large attendance of brethren, including representatives from the sister lodges in tbe district. The installation cpremony was performed by R. W. Bro. W. Moyes, Provincial Grand Master, Nelson and .Marlborough, assisted by Wor. Bros. W. W. de Castro, H. J. Harris, O. E. Hewlett, J. A. Orsman, R. W. Stiles, G. Menzies and E. Grove. Wor. Bro. B. U. Moller acted as Director of Ceremonies, and Bro. Edndge and Bro. N. R. Williams acted as organ ists. Officers were installed as follows—W.M., Bro. F. W. Smith. O I. P.M., Wor. bro. H. J Harris; S.W., Bro. T. Hamilton; J.W., Bro. F. U. Durbridge; Treas. Bro. E. McPherson ; Organist, W. Bro. E. Edridge: Secretary, Bn. T. H. Biggs; Chaplain, Wor. Bro. O. R. Hewlett; S.D., Bro. F. F. Williamson; J.D., Bro. W. Thorne. At the conclusion of the ceremony tbe brethren sat down together an-J spent a social hour, ample justice being done to the good things provided, and some excellent songs being contributed by the brethren.
