A SUCCESSFUL HALF YEARS' BUSINESS. A special meeting of the' Board of Directors of the Permanent Building Society was held list evening, for the purpose of receiving accounts and declaring the prdn't for the half year ended 30th September. The statement submitted by the Secretary and duly audited showed that the amount of profit earned during the half year and available for distribution was £1279 lls 6d, less £116 4s 8d due to depositors.
