FELL— BUCHANAN

The wedding of Mr Charles Richmond Fell, younger son of Mr C. Y. Fell, St. John's, Nelson, and Miss Phyllis Lee Buchanan. younger daughter of Mr N. L. Buchanan, Paturau, Nelson, took place at the Nelson Cathedral on March 18th. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a long-trained, slightly Empire gown of ivory brocade, with Honiton ruffles, over a small wreath "of myrtle and orange blossom was draped a beautiful Honiton applique veil, the gift of i Mrs C. Y. Fell, and her only orna- 1 t ment was "a pearl pendant given by her brother. The three bridesmaids were MiBS Woodhouse (Dunedin), cousin of the bride; Miss Sylvia Fell, sister of the bridegroom; and Miss Snodgrass (Napier). They ttore frocks ofj pale mauve, voile trimmed, with blonde lace and bandsof violet silk, and violet silk cloche hats wreathed with shaded roses. They carried bouquets'of mauve and pink sweet peas, which, with pearl brooches, were the gift of the bridegroom. Mr and Mrs Richmond Fell left for a three-weeks', tour to Rotorua, the bride going aAvay in a nattierblue cloth goAvn, and toque Avith blue wings and tulle.
