Wellington* August 21. The Superintendent of the Pacific Cable Station^ . Doubtless Bay, telegraphs to tbe Secretary General Post Office* Wellington, on 21st August, 1907 : — Administration arrangements hays now been made for a bi-weekly gervice for American cablegrams, to be posted from Bamfield to Seattle, and telegraphed to destination from latter point. Messages by this means can only be accepted at sender's risk, and subject to indefinite delay between Seattle and their destination. Ordinary rates to station of destination must be charged; and the tisual registered addresses will be available; American cables for transmission by this mearts-can be accepted at Bamfield up to 9.30 a.m. New Zealand time to-morrow (Thursday). The time of mail transit from Bamfield to Seattle is three days. Furth9r advice of subsequent mailing dates will be sent.
