BUD OF PROMISE TENT, 1.0. R.

The half-yearly summoned meeting of members was held in the Rechabite Hall on Wednesday, January 2nd, C. R. Bro. Mitchener in the chair. There was a good attendance of members. The balance sheet, duly audited, was presented and showed tbat the membership of the Tent is gradually increasing and now stands at 122. Notwithstanding the heavy sick pay to members during the past quarter the fund has increased by £25 and now stands at £2686 Is sd, and members were congratulated by the auditor on the fine position the Tent is taking as a sound financial institution. Election of officers resulted in the following members taking up positions: C.R., Bro. Gay; D.C.R., Bro G. Campbell; Steward, Bro. Whiting; Secretary, E. E. Boyes; Treasurer. Bro. J. Calder; Levite, Bro. Robb; Guardian,Bro. Millican. Dr Barr was re-elected Tent Surgeon. Offiicers as elected were duly installed by C. R., Bro. Mitchener. Routine business waa transacted and the hour being late it was decided to leave the consideration of the*Dietrict Meeting Business Sheet till next Tent meeting.
