BIG HAUL BY A BURGLAR.

Auckland, July 11. The Glenavon Boarding House was visited by a burglar in the early hours of this morniDg. Only one room was entered, but in that the theif secured a good haul. The boarder occupying the room was a recent arrival from the South, and his luggage was overhauled and £300 in circular notes, and £60 in gold were secured. The thief seems to nave been a very 000l customer, as he drank half a boottle of whisky in the bathroom, where the half empty bottle was found.
