INSPECTION OF CHILDREN'S TEETH.
3 ] Auckland, July 11. 1 A deputation from the Auckland .'Dental Association waited on the Board of Education this morning, to urge tbe necessity for measures being taken for the proper inspection and care of the school children's teeth. Dr Co* spoke of the bad state of the teeth of the school children, and poor people not in the position to pay the regular fee. Proper inspection should be made of
the children's teeth, and a Dental .1 Hospital, with a qualified superin- i tendent and honarary assistants should be established at once in some central posii ion, where skilled treatment oould bo given at nominal rates. The Chairman endorsed the remarks made, and said the matteV 1 was now before thfi Hospital Board, and possibly by acting together some definite scheme for tbe treatment of the teeth of poor people and children could be evolved.
