ARRIVAL OF S.S. CORINTHIC.

! TWO DEATHS. Wellington, January 6. There were two deaths during the voyage of the White Star liner" Corinth ic from London. On Saturday last Mrs Lane, wife of John Lane of Ashburton, died of acute anaemia, her case having been almost hopeless before the steamer left London. The deceased was 56 years of age. The other death was that of Master Towsett, son of Mr and Mrs E. Towsett, third-class passengers. Both bodies were buried at sea. the shipment of ducks, lapwings, pheasants and widgeon arrived for the Government by the Corinthic in good condition.
