ATHLETIC CRICKET CLUB,
The annual met ting of the membsra of this Club was held at the Commercial Hotel pians at the Theatre Boyal on £ept. 18, when voted to tbe ohair. Tbe report and balance sheet were read and adopted, after whioh tbe eleotion of officers took plaoe as follows : — President, Rev. F. W Chatterton; Vice-Presidents, Me*B:s Topliss Kirkpatriek, Sadd and Robineo i ; Seoreta- y, Mr A. W. Clayden ; Committee, Messrs Pool*-, A. W. Shallcrass and Bottrell ; Junior Seoretary, Mr Bottrell; Delegates to Union, Messrs Clayden and Poole ; Captain, Mr Poole : Auditor, Mr Curtis. Four new members ~ere eleoted. Mr Poole gave notice to move at next meeting " That Town Clubs )lay two rounds in tbe oountry, the winders of Town and Oountry tt play off." Votes of tbankß were accorded the retirin ' officers, and witb a similar oomp iment to the Chairman (he meeting cloßed.
