Reid, all of Wharepuhunga, was received by the Otorohanga County Council at their meeting last Mondayy. The letter drew the Council’s attention to the dangerous state of the Loop Road 'at Wharepuhunga- and asked that the Council should do something to the road. The road was used by a school bus and it was stated that a mail and passenger bus from Ngaroma and a mail bus from Te Kawa were to use the road daily in the near future. ‘ The writers thought that something should be done for the safety of dangerous corners immediately to make the road moderately safe. Cr R. H. Wynyard stated that he thought it was imperative that something should be done for the safety of the children. Cr Jamieson said that it was going to cost a lot of money to make the road moderately safe. It was moved that the chairman, Mr J. L.
