UNIVERSITY HOSTEL APPEAL
Sir, —I have received from Mrs Dorothy G. Winstone, of Auckland, a personal appeal for local assistance for the fund being raised to purchase “Stonehurst” (at a price of £25,000) as a University Hostel. She very justly points out in her letter that it is students from this and other country areas who will benefit from the establishment of a hostel. I shall be very glad to receive, acknowledge, and forward contributions from any of your readers who may feel that they would like to share in this provision for the benefit of our children in years to come.—l am, etc., H. ROCHFORT, Principal.
