HAMILTON v. TE AWAMUTU VICTORY FOR LOCAL TEAM An enjoyable and interesting match took place at Kihikihi on Thursday night last, when Hamilton met the Te Awamutu Association team. The result was a win for the Te Awamutu representatives by 36 sets to 12. A feature of the match was the game between a young local player, Miss D. Akehurst, and Miss E. FINAL TOURNAMENT HELD On Tuesday night, the Kihikihi Table Tennis Club held »their final night for the season. A handicap tournament was held when the Alcock and Harding Cups were played for. During supper, the president (Mr W. McGhie) thanked members for their co-operation and help during the season. Cups were then presented to the winners of the tournament, Miss S. Amohanga and Mr B. Barton, and also for the most improved players, Mr N. Brannen and Miss B. Conn, this being the second year «in succession that Miss Conn has won the Cup.
