SALE OF WORK
METHODIST LADIES’ GUILD A FINANCIAL SUCCESS After many weeks of assiduous and enthusiastic preparation the members of the Methodist Ladies’ Guild held a sale of work in the Rest Room on Friday and Saturday last, and the liberal measure of public support accorded must have been very gratifying to them. Certainly they had the satisfaction of having their self-im-posed task of making many useful articles amply rewarded, the net financial result being highly satisfactory. The stalls were well laden, and all goods and produce commanded a very ready sale. The stall-holders were: Mesdames F. H. Rabey, R. MfcFie, L. T. Lynds, J. Mercep, A. Chilcott, Percy Ward, C. E. Roke, R. F. Lamb, A. W. Leek, J. C. Downey; and P. Rix.
