CORRESPONDENCE
REST ROOM NEEDED Sir, —Just a short epistle .to your paper asking the council why we as a community have not a decent Rest Room ? Every other small town seems to be catered for except our own. What i nerve anyone would have to expect distinguished visitors to visit or even pass through To Awamutu, with not even a Rest Room to show the lady members! What it needs is a few women on the Borough Council. They would get things done. Another slant on the subject is: Te Awamutu is dependant on the farming community, but the farmers are not dependant on Te Awamutu. If the fanners’ wives decided to boycott the town for a week or two perhaps we should get the badly needed, modern Rest Room.—l am, etc., FARMER’S WIFE.
