MEN WRONGLY CALLED FOR SERVICE. SOME LOCAL NAMES. A Gazette was issued in Wellington this morning cancelling the calling up for service with the Armed Forces of a number of men who had been wrongly included in previous ballots. Local district names are as follow': Bryan, Douglas John, farm hand, Waitomo Valley Road. Already a member of the Armed Forces. (Bryan, Leslie George, farm hand, Waitomo Valley Road. Aljjeadjy a m!em|ber of the Armed Forces. Haine, Harold Herbert, dairy farmer, Te Alwamhitu. Member of the Second Division. Harrod, Philip James, farm labourer, Paraiwera. Not a member of Classes B (1) or C, First Division. Hubbard, Arthur, motor lorry driver, Te Awamutu. Not a member of the Reserve. Monteith, Wilfred Hills, Otorohanga. Already a member of th* 3 Armed Forces. Old, Andrew Russell, farm hand. Otorohanga. Member of the Second Division. O’Neill, William John, farm manager, Pokuru. Not a member of the Reserve.
