AT THE EMPIRE.
COMMENCING SATURDAY. “ EVERYBODY’S BABY.” The familiar American problem of “ keeping up with the Joneses ” brought a plea from a worried father in the fan mail of 20th Century-Fox’s famous Jones Family. Their latest film, “ Everybody’s Baby,” opens tomorrow at the Empire Theatre. The parent wrote: “I used to give my voung son ten cents a week for spending money until he saw Dad Jones handle son Roger on the screen. When we returned home that evening he insisted that his allowance be raised to a quarter a week. *lf Mr Jones’ boy gets 25 cents,’ said he, * why should I get only a dime ? ’ So in future pictures, Mr Prouty, please don’t raise Roger’s allowance or there will be trouble in my home ! ”
