OBITUARY
MRS L. M. EDGECUMBE. The death occurred in Hamilton on Monday of Mrs Louise Margaret Edgecumbe, widow of the late Mr Henry Francis Edgecumbe, a wellknown surveyor, formerly of Te Awamutu. Born at Orakau, . Mrs Edgecumbe was the second daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Andrew Kay, pioneers of the Waikato, and a sister of Messrs J. R., Dick, Lyell, Harry and Allan R, Kay, all of this district. She lived in the Te Awamutu district until the death of her husband in 1918, when she went to Hamilton to reside. She is survived by a son, Mr L. F. Edgecumbe, Taumarunui, and two daughters, Mrs Harold Johnston, Matamata, and Mrs M. K. Smethurst, Hamilton.
