THE TE KUITI CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Te Kuiti Bowling Club, in presenting the annual report, Mr. W. A. Horne con gratulated all members on the successful season which had just closed. The club had been fortunate in securing a number of new members, and a number of former members had again taken up the game. Already the first year players had developed an enthusiasm unsurpassed by many older members. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr W. J. Broadfoot, M.P.; president, Mr R. H. Browne: vice-presidents, Messrs A. Harkness and H. G. Shakes; secretary, Mr Sam. Wilson: executive committee, Messrs S. E. Holah, Herb. Douglas, J. Bowdrill, C. A. Weston and A. Pickering; delegates to South Auckland Centre, the president and secretary; auditor, Mr R. Reid; coach, Mr W. A. Horne. The president congratulated Mr S. E. Holah on winning the senior championship Cup and Mr D. Davidson on winning the junior championship cup. For the second year in succession Mr J. Powdrill won the handicap singles cup. The handicap pairs cup was won by Messrs. H. Dinsdale (skip) and C. A. Weston (lead).
