HOTEL LICENSING
WAITOMO COMMITTEE. ANNUAL MEETING AT TE AWAMUTU. The annual meeting of the Waitomo Licensing Committee was held at the local Courthouse at noon to-day, when there were present Messrs W. H. Freeman, S.M. (chairman), G. A. Empson, L. G. Armstrong, D. A. Wallace, and A. Blackman the lastnamed from Te Kuiti. ;Mr J. Forsyth, clerk, was in attendance. Mr S. S. Preston represented Messrs Hancock and Co.. Ltd., who are interested in some of the local and district hotels. Renewals were granted to the following:— Te Awamutu Hotel.—E. H. Cucksey. Commercial.—E. Rov Baddilev. Alpha. Kihikihi.—Eileen A. Kerr. A new license was issued to James Kerin representing the Star Hotel, Kihikihi.
