OBITUARY
MRS F. J. PETCHELL. After a long illness the death took place at the Waikato Hospital yesterday of Mrs F. J. Petchell, of Te Awamutu, and the bereaved husband will have the sincere sympathy of a very wide circle of friends in his loss. Mrs Petchell had resided in Te Awamutu for more than twenty years, and was respected and esteemed. Her indifferent health over a long period prevented her taking part in the social life of the tlown, but those who had the privilege of her friendship esteemed her highly. Some lew weeks ago her condition became steadily worse, so much so that she entered the Waikato Hospital; but the best of medical aid was unavailing, and she passed peacefully away yesterday. The funeral takes place this afternoon, interment being at Ta Awamutu public cemetery.
