TE AWAMUTU LADIES’ CLUB. Following is the draw for the first round of the Storey Rose Bowl competition, to be played next Saturday, commencing at 11.30 a.m.:—

The June L.G.U. medal was won by Mrs MlcDonald in the senior division and Mrs Bryant in the junior division, and Miss L. Potts won the C grade medal.

TE AWAMUTU V. OTOROHANGA. The scores in the inter-club mateh, Te Awamutu v. Otorohanga (men’s division), played on the local links last week-end, were not all available for our last issue, but they were as follow (with the Otorohanga players named first): — Men’s singles: Hotson beat Holmes, 3 and 2; Mcßobie beat Barnett, 3 and 2; Pilkington lost to McDonald, 8 and 7; Taylor lost to Sterritt, 2 and 1; Fleming lost to Foggin, 3 and 2; Ormsby lost to Walker, 7 and 5; Thompson lost to Preston, 3 and 1; Morley lost to Wood, 6 and 5; Liddy lost to O’Sullivan, 3 and 2; Austin lost to Muir, 8 and 6; Irvine beat Christie, 3 and 2; Coverdale lost to Craig, 3 and 1; Rhodes lost to Grif; fith, 2 and 1.
