COUNTY OFFICES
DISCUSSION POSTPONED At the Meeting of the Piako County Council held a month ago Crs. Stark and Lowry were authorised to make inquiries at Morrinsville with a view to learning whether any building suitable for County offices was available. Cr. Stark reported at yesterday’s meeting of the Council that while buildings could have been obtained a few years ago none were available now, and Cr. Whitechurch remarked that offices were not built unless required. Cr. Kennedy, who wished the Council to consider the question of building their own offices, said he was prepared to let the matter stand over till the present lease expired, viz., the date of the annual meeting.
