BUILDING SOCIETY

GOOD DEMAND FOR SHARES The Te Aroha Co-operative Terminating Building Society is actively engaged in selling shares in No. 2 group, and Mr E. H. Jones, who is making a canvass of the. business part of the town, is meeting 45 with much success. One good point about the Society is that any shareholder who succeeds at the ballot can sell his interest in the money for a considerable sum, and can still go on participating in the ballots. All shareholders with an equal number of shares have the same opportunity, and it should be remembered that all moneys paid in are eventually returned to the owner. A shareholder has a chance of getting the use of a large sum of money free of interest with every ballot, but this does not take away his right to a return of the whole of his contributions with profits added.
