SEMI-OFFICIAL TEST It is noted that in the official figures of the semi-official records for JanuaiT as published in the “New Zealand Farmer,Mr S. L. Boles’ two-year-old heifer, Te Aroha Trixie, 11.8. No. 18680, occupies second place on the list in the junior two-year-old class with 66.16 lb fat for the month. The leading heifer, Keston Flower, owned by Mr G. E. Zeichich, produced 66.891 b fat for the month, and the third place was held by Glyndyfrdwy Clara, owned by Mr J. R. Kelly, with 04.151 b fat for the same period. The figures for the three leading heifers are as follows, the period being 31 clays:— Keston Flower, 1060.11 b milk, 66.89 lb fat. Te Aroha Trixie, 841.751 b milk, 66.161 b fat. Glyndyfrdwy Clara, 1094.8 lb milk, 34.151 b fat. The totals to the end of January were:— Keston Flower, 6922.91 b milk, 389.941 b fat, 203 days in milk. Te Aroha Trixie, 5'303.351b milk, 339.171 b fat, 190 days in milk. Glyndyfrdwy Clara, 5176.71 b milk, 294.881 b fat, 135 days in milk. Upwards of 70 heifers are being tested in this class.
