RED CROSS GUILD (From Our Own Correspondent) The following is a list of work sent by the Waihou Red Cross Guild to our wounded in hospitals, also the ladies’ names who have provided afternoon tea: —

February—23 flannels, 30 swabs, 3 doz roller bandages, 2 doz eye pads, 5 flannelette many tailed bandages, 6 flannel many tailed bandages, 2 doz face cloths, 7 handkerchiefs, 4 doz, pillow slips, 4 choice belts, 8 tailed bandages, 3 pairs mittens, 1 pair socks.

March —18 flannels, 7 flannelette many tailed bandages, 2doz face cloths, 5 pillowslips, 3 T bandages, 3 cholera belts, 2 doz roller bandages, 24 eye pads, 1 pair socks. Afternoon tea provided by Mrs Timmins, Miss Teague, Miss McKenzie, Mrs Borrie, Mrs Kirby. Donations received : Waihou school children ss, Mrs Orr 10s, Mr Booker £l.

I would also like to mention that the following articles were made by the Waihou school 'children: 1

flannelette baudage, 5 pillow slips, 3 handkerchiefs, 15 face cloths.
