The secretary of the '.l‘.aihape Rug’3lv' Sub-Union has been otficially advise.-<2 that the Rugby match between the Wanganui reps. and the South Island Country team will be played at Taihape ‘on Saturday, 14th August. The team will arrive here on 12th inst, and will leav'e I'ol‘ "Hamilton on the 16t_h to fill their relljga‘gement to play the South Auckand reps.

: THE JUNIOR COMPETITION. On Saturday, two junior matches will be played, and particular interest should attach to the game between Huias and Pirates, which will ‘be played at 1..‘_3_0 p.lll. The second game will be bet\§"een IVl&tal‘|O‘El. and Utiku, and will commence at 3 pm.
