The Wanganui Brass Band will visit Taihape'to-morrow and give a monster" concert entertainment in the TownHail. On Sunday afternoon they wilF Phiy in the .Recreation Grounds, and in the evening will giVe. a sacred recital hi the Town Hall. No one should miss hearing this talented band, undoubtedly one of the best in the Southern Hemisphere. They are giving their services absolutely free, the only, expense in connection with tlrir visit being their train fare. To-night a social and dance will bo held at Bennett's Siding in honour of "Our Boys' " Candidate, Mrs. E, W. Smith. Cars will be running from 7.3rr onward free of charge. On Tuesday a bridge party will be held at trie Town Hall in aid of the same candidate. On Thursday, the 14th inst., a monster picnic will be held at Mr. Wilkie's grounds, Ohutu, to further theprospects of the Ctiku representative, Mrs. J. Gilchrist.
