LODGE MEETING.
LOYAL PAPANUL The annual meeting of the Loyal Papanul Lodge. Manchester Unity Oddfellows, was held iu the Public Library, Papanul, on Thursday evening. N.G. Bro. J. J. Beagley presided over a large attendance of members and visitors, amongst whom were: DeputyGrand Master Bro. W. R. Gahagan (New Zealand branch), district officers and Conmitt™ of Management North Canterbury District, P.O. Bro. A. D. Hassall (Rangier* district) and - representatives from the Loyal Addlngton, Benevolent, City of Chilstchurch, Jubilee, PhllUpitown, Rlccarton, and Volunteer Lodges. Fraternal greetings were received from the New Zealand branch. North Canterbury district and various lodges, and were reciprocated. The election of officers was as follows: —I.P.N.C, Bro. 3. 3. Beagley: N.G., Bro. F. Inns: V.G., Bro. W. Herd: E.S., Bro. W. J. Mulholland j P.S., Bro. H. E. Morgan, P.P.G.M.; treasurer, Bro. Mulholland, P.G.; auditors, P.G.'s Bro. C. Morgan and Bro, Mulholland; H.S.N.G., Bro. NT Smith: L.S.N.G., Bro. Large; R.S.V.G., Bro. Thomson) L.S.V.G., Bro. Eady: warden, Bro. A, Samuels; tyler, Bro. H. Weeber. The officers were installed by the District Grand Matter, who gave.the charges. District Secretary Bro. T. jr. Archbold and District Tifasurer Bro. 3. fl. Merrlma acting as bonductors. After the Installation the Grand Master addressed the members on the tenets of Qddfellowship, -and complimented the lodge on being able to practically fill all offices with new members, also with having got a sufficient number to enable the lodge to have a third delegate at the next district conference. P.P.G.M. Bro. H. E. Morgan was elected delegate to the U.F.S. Council of Canterbury; P.G. Bro. C. Morgan, U.F.S. Benevolent Association; P.G. Bro. J. 3. Beagley. U.F.S. Dispensary Committee. P.G. Bro. J. J. Beagley was nominated for the Committee of Management. P.P.G.M. Bro. H. E. Morgan reported on the meeting of the Past Grands Lodge. One new member was proposed for initiation. After business a social hour was spent,
