PIGEON FLYING.

The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club recently flew off a race from Kaitokl, 103 birds, divided nmougst 17 lofts, competing. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster at 9.33 a.m., In dull weather, with a north-east wind at the home end, The birds put up fairly fast tlmes,very little dividing the first eight lofts. The winner was P. Klngsford's Prodax, which traversed the distunce of 222 .miles 1597 yards airline in Chr aomln. The following is tho veloolty recorded by each owner's birds — F.
