WEDDING.

The wedding took place at 10.30 this 'morning of Mr Louis H. Campbell, ! fourth son of Sara Lady Campbell, of Cheviot, and the late Sir Charles Campjbell, to Miss Margaret Campbell, daughter of Mrs Campbell and the late Mr jPatrick Campbell, formerly of Ham, IRiecarton. The marriage was celebrated at St. Peter's, Ricearton, the bride entering the church on the arm 'of her brother-in-law, Major Westimacott, by whom she was 'subsequently given away. She wore a beautiful I gown of white charmeuse, veiled in | silk Milanese tulle, lightly embroidered ion the corsage and skirt with crystal beads, and finished with a crystal tunic. The court train was draped from the 'left shoulder in an uncommon and very graceful 6tyle, and caught at the waist with a cluster of orange blossom. It was cut on rather narrow lines, and was lined with white ninon. The veil was of silk Milanese tulle, worn over a coronet of orange blossoms, and a vivid colour-note was struck by the bridal bouquet of glorious multicoloured roses. As ornaments she wore a wrist watch set in diamonds, the gift of the bridegroom, and diamond ear-rings, the latter being the gift of the bridegroom's mother. There were no bridesmaids, but Mr N. D. Campbell acccompanied his brother as best man. Mrs Campbell (mother of the bride) witnessed the ceremony in a handsome draped gown of black crepe de Chine, ornamented with black silk fringe, and wearing a large black picture hat with black ostrich feathers. She carried a bouquet of mauve sweet peas. Sara Lady Campbell (the bridegroom's mother) was in a coat and skirt of black corded silk, and a becoming black hat with a tulle veil.

After the ceremony, a large party of relatives and friends adjourned to "Holmbrook," Garden Road, where a reception in honour of the marriage was held. The wedding breakfast was served in a big marquee on the lawn, which was charmingly decorated with a profusion of flowers and foliage. Later on" Mr and Mrs Louis Campbell left on their honeymoon trip, the latter wearing an elegant frock of sapphire blue silk stockinette, embroidered in grey, and a hat of grey silk, trimmed with sapphire blue ribbon.
