MODEL YACHTING.
At Lake Victoria on Saturday, the Model Yacht Club sailed off the sixth and seventh heats of the third race of the season. The wind was moderate, from the north-east. Nine boats competed, and Captain Ruxton supervised. Results:—Sixth heat: Mr Bond's Isa 1, Mr Schenkel's Alert 2, Mr Firth's Oeo 3. Time, 32min. Seventh heat: Mr Hodge's Vigilant 1, Mr Eckenstcen's Billie 2, Oeo 3.
