PROFITEERING CHARGE.

APPEAL IN D.I.C. CASE. REMOVED TO FULL COURT. At the Supreme Court tins morning, his Honour Mr Justice Herdman granted an application by Mr A. Lucas for a summons removing to the Full Court the appeal lodged by the Drapery and General Importing Co. of New Zealand, Ltd. (the D.1.C.) against the decision of Mr S. E. McCarthy, S.M., in the reeent prosecution under the Board of Trade Act, whereby the defendant company was fined £SO for selling a girl's rainproof coat at a price (45/-) which the Magistrate held to be unreasonably high. Mr A. T. Donnelly, who appeared for George Hart Christie, secretary of the Christchurch Price Investigation Tribunal, did not oppose the application.
