An inquest was held at Kaikoura on Wednesday, before Mr James Davidson and a jury of four, concerning the death of Edward Joseph Kerr, whose body had been found in the Clarence River. A verdict was returned that the deceased was accidentally drowned in the Clarence River on the morning of October 24. -.
