The Christchurch Tramway Board has drawn the attention of the Canterbury Education Board to the inconvenience caused to the public by the way in which parties of school children have been brought by tram to attend, special functions, such as sports gatherings, picture . films exhibitions,, etc.,' without any previous notice being supplied to the Traffic Manager of their intention to travel. The Tramway Board has intimated that in future 1 these children will be refused entrance to trams, unless reasonable notice has ben given by the head teachers of their intention to travel. At its meeting this morning -the Education Board agreed to inform head teachers of the. Tramway Board's intention in orderj that the necessary notice might be given I in all cases. ° I
